  • Actors’ Workshop Organised by David Scott  on Wednesday Evenings from 18.00 to 22.00 on an enrolment basis
  • Ancient and Honourable Order of Golden Dawn (Gerry Dempsey) Monthly meetings for discussion and ritual 12:00 – 20:00 on third Saturday of the month
  • Art of Living (Aymen) Healing meditation sessions from 12.00 to 14.00 on Saturdays
  • Bar Swaps (Tom Galligan) Meets on Friday from 19.00 to 21.30 for holistic healing sessions
  • Bhajan Singers A session devoted to music and singing inspired by Mata Amritanandamayi better known as Amma (The Hugging Saint)
  • Be Fit Club (Cindy) On Tuesdays from 18.45 to 19.45
  • Brazilian Mothers They gather with their children for games and cultural activities on the last Saturday of every month from 15.00 to 18.00
  • Buddhist Meditation (Tony Brady) on the third Tuesday of the month from 19.30 to 21.00

  • DIT Chaplaincy. Planning meetings and reflections held on a monthly basis
  • Ethiopian Orthodox Church They meet for worship every Sunday morning from 8.00 to 13.00 followed by a meal. They also celebrate the 4 days of Easter Liturgy and the Christmas Liturgy
  • English Language Classes Individual and small group tuition in English for beginners and beyond by appointment (Mary Nolan) & Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday classes from 10:30 – 12:30 (Rosemary Magnier)
  • Estonian Folk Group (Kirsika) They meet on Tuesdays from 18.00 to 21.00 and for choir practice on Saturdays from 18.00 to 21.00
  • French Community Church They meet for worship on the first and third Sundays of the month from 12.00 to 14.00
  • Full Circle Theatre Playback (Lisa Markhem) Personal Development through Drama each Wednesdays at 19.00
  • Georgian Musical Ensemble A group of ten Irish and Georgians who gather each Thursday evening from 19.00 to 21.00 for traditional Georgian music
  • Gnostic Studies Gnosis is the synthesis of the wisdom hidden in all religions and spiritual schools. Courses take place weekly every Thursday at 7.30pm
  • Gnostic Orthodox Church (Rodney). Meetings and Liturgy on the first Saturday of every month at 17.00 to 22.00
  • Golden Rosy Cross aims to help seekers find and form a living connection with the shining filament, which is woven of love, wisdom, knowledge (gnosis) and action
  • Group Healing with Jill, Healing Facilitator & Psychic Surgeon. Every 3rd week
  • International Coaching (Laura Rinnankoski) Coaching in English, Spanish & Finnish. One to one coaching sessions as well as group workshops combining coaching and other disciplines such as essential oils, yoga, synergy dance, tibetan singing bowls
  • International Women’s Support Group A group of 15 to twenty women from a variety of nationalities who meet each Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 12.00 for mutual support and competency development.
  • Iraqi Community They gather a few times a year to celebrate family and national events.
  • Irish Society of Counsellors Planning meeting and reflections held on a monthly basis.
  • Joan Shields Singing Classes by appointment individual voice training a few times a week and Tony Norton by appointment individual voice training a few times a week
  • Jung Society of Ireland (William) Tuesday evening meetings from 20.00 to 22.00 for lectures and discussion
  • Kimbanguiste (Congo) Community They meet on Sundays for their weekly worship and sometimes a meal from 14.00 to 18.00.They meet for music practice on Saturdays and for prayer on Wednesday afternoon
  • Latvian Cultural Society They run a school on Sunday afternoons from 15.00 to 17.00. They also have choir practice from 16.00 to 18.00. Each Sunday they have dance classes from 11.00 to 15.00.
  • Muslim Organisations’ Forum (Muslof:) They run education programmes, careers sessions, graduations and festivals a few times a year
  • National Youth Council of Ireland Occasional conferences and training sessions
  • Narcotics Anonymous They hold a weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 18.15 to 20.00
  • New Monasticism The New Monasticism Ireland concept seeks to facilitate a new lifestyle by blending together a number of commitments such as retrieving the core of the monastic tradition as daily practice and embracing practices of solitude in daily life. They hold their Board meetings at the Centre and some of their members promote the Silence in the City activities as part of the work of the Lantern Intercultural Centre
  • Oneness Group Offers courses and programs to help people from all paths, faiths, and walks of life to grow into the natural state of being one with all that is. They meet monthly for a day’s meditation and on most Sunday evenings for Prayer from 18.00 to 20.00.
  • Oshoversity (Helen Quinn)  They meet every Thursday evenings from 18.45 to 20.00 for personal development through  meditation and playful activities
  • Pilates On Monday evening from 18.30 to 19.30 (Kasia)
  • Poetry Evenings Organised a few times a year, poetry readings from various faiths and cultures are organised from 19.30 to 22.00 (Dermot O’Brien)
  • Raga Yoga Meditation Conducts occasional weekend workshops in respond to requests the most recent being on 28 January on the topic of Self-Esteem and Confidence Building
  • Rosicrucian Order (AMORC) Meets on the third Thursday of the month from 19.00 to 21.00
  • Russian Language Photographic Group A group of ten or twelve enthusiasts who meet monthly from 19.30 to 22.00
  • Sound healing, toning and chant, crystal singing bowls and drum for healing ourselves, others and our planet Earth. They meet fortnightly (Monday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 pm) to tone and chant together and relax to the sounds of crystal singing bowls (Mildred Ryan)
  • Slovakian Folk Group (Ostroha) A group of about 20 musicians who rehearse each Wednesday evening from 19.00 fsostroha@gmail.com
  • Spiritists Society of Ireland A group of Brazilians who meet for prayer every Sunday morning from 11.00 to 13.00 and Tuesday evening from 19:00 to 21:00
  • Society of Water Diviners of Ireland They meet on the 2nd. Saturday of the month from 14.00 to 16.00
  • Silence in the City As part of the activities of the New Monasticism Movement, groups meet for morning prayer and meditation at 7.30 on Tuesdays and Fridays. They run the Sophia book club which meet on the last Thursday of the month
  • Sharing Sacred Texts A group of six to ten people from different faith traditions (Islam, Hindu, Christian) meet on Wednesday evening from 19.30 to 22.00 to share reflection on sacred texts chosen from the different traditions
  • Shivam Yoga Classes On Monday and Wednesday evenings from 18.00 to 21.00, Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00-12:00 and also at 10.00 in the morning on Saturday (Beto Mollica)
  • Spirit in the City A group of sixty people who meet for personal development on a two weekly basis from 19.30 to 22.00 on Thursday evenings (Martin Duffy)
  • Tai Chi Exercises held Monday evening 18:30 – 20:00 (Patricia Bas)
  • Tai Chi trad. Yang-Style Class on Tuesday evening 17.55 – 19.25 (Declan Mills)
  • Tamal Community They gather a few times a year to celebrate family and national events
  • Three Faiths Forum Monthly meetings held
  • Toastmasters The second and the fourth Tuesday of the month 19:00 – 21:00 (Jan Marie)
  • Togolese Community (Amen) Occasional meetings to plan community events.  
  • Tribal Drummers A group of 20 or so people come together to celebrate community and life through rhythm and music. They engage in celebration and healing rhythms and chants from the tribal cultures of Planet Earth. They meet on Fridays from 19.00 to 20.00
  • Unitarian Film Club A group from the Dublin Unitarian Church host a Film Club on the first Wednesday of the month from 20.00 to 22.30
  • WFWP Ireland (Women’s Federation for World Peace) Organises joint ventures with the Lantern Intercultural Centre to mark significant UN international celebrations such as International Women’s Day celebrated on 8 March with over 70 people
  • Zen Buddhist Meditation (Rev Myozan Kodo) Monday evenings from 20.00 to 21.30
